GE Lighting Joins Europe's Leading Voices on Energy Efficiency
As part of its long term commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, GE Lighting will this year co-sponsor the Euro-Mediterranean Energy Efficiency Forum (EEF).
EEF is one of the leading annual forums in Europe dedicated to the promotion of energy efficiency policies and business practices.
The EEF will take place on the 24th and 25th March 2014 in Monaco. In its fourth year, the event is organized by an alliance formed by Johnson Controls, the Climate Group and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. This year, the EEF will focus on the theme "Targeting Efficiency for Economic Recovery, Committing to Growth".
The EEF provides a unique chance for policy-makers, NGOs and business leaders to meet and identify ways to unlock the potential of energy efficiency to address a range of challenges, from climate change and environmental resource pressures to jobs, competitiveness and human health.
Agostino Renna President & CEO, GE Lighting EMEA, will join the Executive Council of the EEF together with other 13 members, all recognized leaders in the fields of sustainability and energy efficiency.
