GE Lighting has announced the appointment of Mike Hall as its Sales General Manager for the UK & Ireland, with him taking up the role from the 5th August 2013. Mike Hall replaces Mike Barrett, who has been promoted to the role of General Manager, Product Management for GE Lighting EMEA.

Mike Hall will have a strategic role in accelerating growth and developing new business opportunities for GE Lighting in the region. He brings with him a wealth of expertise, after approximately 12 years of sales and P&L management experience in the energy services sector. Mike joins GE Lighting from Univar, where he held a Key Account Director role. Throughout his career he has worked in a variety of leadership roles at Johnson Controls, including Managing Director UK & Ireland for its Power Solutions Business and Sales Director for Europe & Africa for its Building Efficiency division.

Mike Hall joins GE Lighting to replace Mike Barrett who had recently been promoted to the role of General Manager, Product Management, GE Lighting EMEA.
