GE Lighting Raises the Bar With New GM
In a bid to strengthen its commercial operations and to enable simpler, faster and easier customer interactions, GE Lighting has appointed a new EMEA, General Manager of Commercial Services.
Catherine Gutowski brings with her 16 years of experience from within the company and will focus on developing a world-class commercial workforce, maximising the impact of GE Lighting's sales teams. Catherine joined GE Lighting in 1997 as part of the Technical Leadership Programme and has held several different roles with increasing responsibility since – most recently General Manager, Consumer Region Sales North America, where she grew GE Lighting's market share in both new and existing channels.
Catherine's proven track record will ensure Commercial Services within GE Lighting, achieves its main goals of increasing sales force productivity, enhancing customer experience, establishing new world capabilities and redefining efficient tools and processes.

Catherine has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of South Florida. In addition, Catherine is an active member of the GE Women's Network, serving on a number of committee's and co-leading the Steering Committee on Executive Commercial Women.
